A customer called the store today and asked to speak to the manager.
This is the conversation that took place:
Customer: “I would like to get some information on the store’s insurance because today, when I drove to the store, right before turning into the store parking lot, I did not see the curb and I hit it so hard with my car that my transmission was damaged. I am now trying to find out how to get reimbursed for the repairs expenses.”
Manager: “You just said the YOU did not see the curb, but you want a non-profit agency to cover your expenses?”
Customer: “The curb is not marked, so I did not see it and it damaged my car when I hit it”.
She was told that curbs are built by the city, but she insisted in wanting to speak to the Administrative office.
I surrendered and gave her the phone number.
